PTA Hosted Events
Middle school is a charming, perplexing, frustrating, wonderful time in life. Everything we do as a PTA is aimed to support students as they grow and change during this critical time.
Picnic with the Parents
PTA hosts a picnic day on the patio, or in the cafeteria during all 3 lunches—on the 3rd Friday of each month. Bring a special treat for your student, and enjoy some special time together.
This end-of-year event is one big incentive for academic and behavioral excellence at school! Students who maintain good academic and behavioral standing get to enjoy inflatables, karaoke, a video game room, snacks, and more.
The Clark Pride Store is a fun and effective program, that encourages excellent behavior at school. The Clark PTA facilitates donations of popular items such as Pringles, large candy bars, sodas, stationary sets, etc. If you would like to be involved —either by donating items or working with companies who donate them— please let us know!
We LOVE our teachers at Clark, and it is fun to treat them from time to time! If you love delighting and encouraging the people who invest in our kids every day, this is a great place for you help!
Watch DOGS are father-figures who volunteer one day of their time each year. They attend Clark with their students, and serve as a positive male role models for other kids who need it. Watch Dogs are welcome additions to the classroom, providing an additional level of adult supervision and assisting teachers with certain tasks.
Let us know if you are interested in seeing how being a Watch DOG could work with your schedule.
Twice a year, our librarian puts together a book fair for Clark students. The PTA provides volunteers who help kids make purchases, and find good books. If you would like to help our school encourage kids to read, we would love to have you join us!
Have a fun night out with school friends, and raise money for Clark at the same time!
This event allows students to experience certain situations as if they had a different set of abilities than they currently do. The goal of Diversabilities Day is to encourage empathy and raise awareness of the wide variety of abilities enhancing our middle school community.
PTA is a strong supporter of the arts. National PTA provides one of the few programs for students that extends from elementary school, all the way through high school. Clark PTA hosts a school-wide Reflections art contest each year. The winners move on to state and national competition!
The Clark Scholarship— $500
Did you know Clark PTA funds a scholarship endowment? Each year, one graduating senior (who attended Clark in the past and has logged at least 100 volunteer service hours) is given money for their future education. Contact our president for more information.
Special Student events— TBD
Each year PTA hosts learning events for students. Last year's programs were #SaFE and Just Say Yes. We will let you know about this year's programs once they are solidified.
